VPD Crime Report – June 17, 2011

May 16, 2011 in the 100 block of Elizabeth Circle.  Alerick Powell, who resides at 144 Elizabeth Circle, was arrested by the Vicksburg Police Department at 9:00 am on June 16, 2011.  The 17 year-old is being held without bond, pending his arraignment on the residential burglary charge Jeremy Bailey, 17, 1507 Lummie Street, was arrested at 9:30 am on June 16, 2011 in relation to an auto burglary reported last month.   The burglary, reported on May 14, 2011, occurred in the 2600 block of Clay Street.  A .40 caliber Glock handgun was reported stolen.  That gun was recovered during the arrest.  Bailey has been charged with auto burglary and theft of a handgun.  He is currently being held on a $20,000 bond. A woman has been arrested for fraudulently obtaining Hydrocodone, also called by it’s brand name, Lorcet, without a prescription.  Marsha Reid, age 55, of 2097 Grange Hall Road, was arrested at Peoples Drug Store, located at 1521 Washington Street, at 4:15 pm on June 16, 2011.  She is currently being held without bond pending her arraignment on prescription fraud charges.]]]]> ]]>
