Reeves extends shelter-in-place order for additional week
Last updated:
In a press conference on Friday morning, Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves announced he will extend the state’s shelter-in-place order for an additional week.
The proclamation was set to end on Monday, April 20. It will now end on Monday, April 27, unless Reeves further extends the order.
“This is truly an unprecedented challenge,” he said.
