Riverboats returning to Vicksburg in late June

The boats are coming back to the River City.

Two steamship lines have recently announced that they are resuming Mississippi River cruises in late June with stops in Vicksburg.

American Queen Steamboat Company is restarting its Mississippi River cruises in late June. The American Queen is expected to dock in Vicksburg June 24.

American Cruise Lines announced it has scheduled its first Lower Mississippi River cruise from Memphis to New Orleans beginning June 28. The American Harmony will be docking June 29 in Vicksburg, departing the next day.

Both companies will be limiting the numbers of passengers to comply with COVID-19 social distancing guidelines and instituting strict hygiene regimens onboard.
