Harris advances to round two for Sprinter of the Decade; vote by Thursday noon

Former St. Aloysius star athlete DeMichael Harris has advanced to the next round for the Sprinter of the Decade award.
The first round started last week when he competed against former Vicksburg High School runner Terrell Smith for the most votes. The voting ended Sunday and Harris was named the winner. He now advances to the second round.
Harris is now up against Kristopher Moore, a former Clinton High School runner who attends Hinds Community College.
Back in his St. Aloysius days, Harris was know for winning the Midsouth Association of Independent Schools track championship in 100, 200 and 400 meters in 2016.
Harris has recently achieved a goal of playing in the NFL when the Indianapolis Colts signed him to a free agent contract in April.
The final round of voting started Monday and ends tomorrow at noon. If Harris beats Moore, he will advance to the next round to determine the best track athlete of the decade.
