VPD arrests Louisiana woman for cutting off her ankle monitor

Officers with the Vicksburg Police Department arrested a Louisiana woman Thursday for cutting off her ankle monitor.
Sarah Ramshur, 32, of Rayville, Louisiana, was on house arrest for a misdemeanor contempt of court charge from Aug. 2. She was arrested Sept. 10 at the police department and charged with one count of felony malicious mischief.
Ramshur appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court before Judge Angela Carpenter Thursday. Carpenter bound her over to the Warren County grand jury on a bond of $20,000.
