Williams, Riggs, Jefferson lead their teams in touchdowns Friday

Three Warren County athletes led their teams in touchdowns on Friday night in district games.

Vicksburg High School freshman running back Alex Jefferson led the Gators in touchdowns in their last game against Ridgeland High School. He finished the night with 2 rushing touchdowns in the 49-32 loss.

St. Aloysius running back Brennan Williams led the Flashes in touchdowns in their big 43-28 win over Washington School. He had 3 touchdowns on Friday, including a 75-yard kick return in the opening of the second half.

Porter’s Chapel Academy quarterback Jace Riggs scored the most touchdowns for the Eagles on Friday in their 48-13 loss to Glenbrook. Riggs had a passing touchdown along with a 3-yard touchdown run.

Warren Central had an off week so there were no recorded stats for the Vikings last week.
