The Warren Central High School Vikings football team is now ranked No. 4 in the state by Mississippi Gridiron and MaxPreps.

The Vikings have a 7-0 record after an off week last Friday. Two of the wins were forfeitures due to COVID-19 cancellations. They have already surpassed last season’s 6-6 record and they continue to improve each week under head coach Josh Morgan.

Not only are the Vikings ranked high in the state of Mississippi, but they are also ranked No.2 in class 6A right behind Oak Grove, ranked No. 1 in both 6A and the state by Mississippi Gridiron.

The last time the Vikings were on the field two weeks ago, they defeated Madison Central 8-0. WC will be back at home this week as they will be playing against Clinton High School in another district game.
