Flashettes won their sixth consecutive state title Monday
Last updated:
The St. Aloysius Flashettes dance team won their sixth consecutive state title Monday at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson, Mississippi.
The team is well coached by Chesley Lambiotte and won in the division 4A Pom and Jazz dance category.
“This is the most dedicated group of young ladies, and they worked so hard for this title,” Lambiotte said.
The Flashettes have danced for the football team this fall, and fans love the great halftime performances at home games. For the jazz dance, St. Aloysius Flashette alumna Taylor Lee, now a dance coach at Mississippi State University, choreographed the dance for the Flashettes.
“Our motto is quality over quantity, and all the ladies are so disciplined and overall great leaders,” Lambiotte said.
The Flashettes have 12 members who put in hard work every day. They have exceeded their expectations and will continue to strive for greatness as they celebrate another year as champions.
