Three Vicksburg men have been named to the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference All-State team for their successful football seasons.

Connor Smith, a former St. Aloysius player who now plays at Hinds Community College, went 5 of 8 on field goals and also converted 15 of 17 extra points.

Chris Winston, a former Warren Central offensive lineman started at center for the Hinds Eagles and helped the team to a 3-2 record with his great aggressive blocking.

Joe Johnson Jr., a former Vicksburg High School quarterback, went 29 of 49 in passing for Coahoma Community College and rushed for 210 yards. He led his team to a 3-2 record.

All three were notable players in their high school days, and they continue to advance their skills on the collegiate level.
