Mississippi woman stabs her husband after dreaming he cheated

A Mississippi woman from Jones County stabbed her husband in the back at least four times Saturday after dreaming he was unfaithful to her.

Authorities arrested Lindsey Stephens Sunday and charged her with aggravated domestic assault. According to multiple sources, she explained to the Jones County Sheriff’s Department that she had a dream of her husband “messing” with another woman which caused her to stab him up to seven times.

Stephens’ husband was hospitalized and underwent surgery Monday. He is expected to make a full recovery.

Stephens made her initial court appearance Monday where Judge Sonny Saul set her bond at $10,000.
