Vicksburg High School basketball player Keshawn Brown led the team in points Tuesday in the Gators 66-62 loss to Callaway.

Brown finished the game with 17 points as he helped the Gators maintain a close score with the Chargers.

Many of his Gator teammates also stepped up to help out. Taylon Smith finished with 14 points while Jaden Williams put up 13 on the night.

Brown is in his senior season with the Gators and is making a positive impact on the team under head coach Kelvin Carter.

The Gators travel to Ridgeland Friday to play the Titans at 7:30 p.m.
