Vicksburg native Tristan Jamison killed his first turkey on Saturday.

Jamison got the big bird in Bovina while on a hunting trip with his cousin Taylor Lampkin.

Jamison, 12, is a sixth grader at Bovina Elementary where he is known for being a great student who has a love for sports. He is the son of Tiffany and Jeremiah Jamison.
