No injuries in single vehicle accident

At about 11:20 a.m., a Vicksburg woman’s vehicle left the roadway and ended up in a ditch on 61 South at Wilbert Lane. The original call came in reporting that the occupant was entrapped in the vehicle. Rescue was able to safely assist the woman in getting out of the lightly damaged vehicle.

Paramedics checked on the woman, who was 7 1/2 months pregnant. Her family arrived at the accident scene and assisted her.

The vehicle was removed from the ditch and traffic is flowing normally into the area. Units with the Vicksburg Fire Department and the Warren County Sheriff’s office along with VPD all responded to the scene of the incident.
