Arrest made for vehicle theft reported on Monday

Jasmine Alexander, 28 was was arrested on Tuesday by Vicksburg police.
On Tuesday, Alexander was arrested for a charge of Theft of a Motor Vehicle. A 2008 Nissan Altima was stolen from the side of Highway 61 South.
The vehicle had been involved in a motor vehicle accident and was later located in a recycling yard where the vehicle had been crushed.
Alexander was seen before Judge Angela Carpenter on Tuesday in Vicksburg Municipal Court where she received a $20,000 bond.
