Jackson State University quarterback Jalon Jones has now entered the transfer portal as he decides his next move.

The announcement came on Thursday as Jones posted his decision on his Twitter page.

Jones was the starting quarterback for the Tigers this season under head coach Deion Sanders before being benched a week ago. He is a 2019 University of Florida transfer who led JSU to three straight victories earlier in the year, but recently the Tigers have also lost three straight games.

Jones has not yet announced where he will play next but his departure leaves a big blow to the JSU football program.
