Missy Gators had a exciting fourth inning but fell short to Brookhaven on Thursday

Vicksburg High softball team secured a huge fourth inning by grabbing eight run scores against Brookhaven on Thursday but eventually  fell short in a 13-8 loss.

Lexi Kistler and Madelyn McAdams were on the mound for the Missy Gators as they combined for a total of seven strikeouts.

Kellisia Walker, Trinity McGloster, Kistler and McAdam all had an RBI for VHS.

The Missy Gators managed to come back from being down 8-0, closing the gap to where they were trailing only 10-8 by the fifth inning.

Although VHS never gave up on the match, they came up short against Brookhaven but will now prepare to play Terry on Tuesday.
