Former WC football player Malik Sims wins Most Improved Player of the Year Award

Vicksburg native Malik Sims has been Hinds Community College football team’s Most Improved Defensive Player of the Year for the 2020 season.
Sims was given the award on Thursday by Head Coach Larry Williams for his hard work and dedication on the football field.
He finished with a total of 35 tackles as he led the Eagles to a 3-1 season in his freshman year.
Sims is a 2020 graduate of Warren Central High School and will be returning to Hinds in the fall for his final season with the Eagles.
