Multiple power outages have been reported throughout the area.

Trees have taken out power lines in several locations.

According to Entergy Spokeswoman Sheila McKinnis, as of this reporting, an estimated 9,367 customers are without power. Damage will need to be assessed before any estimates on restoration can be given.

Yazoo Valley is conducting assessments presently and has confirmed significant outages near Redwood and up to Highway 3.
