Sophie Masterson wins MVP of PCA Junior High Girl’s softball team

Porter’s Chapel Academy softball player Sophie Masterson won the Most Valuable Player Award for the Lady Eagles Junior High team.

Masterson won the award on Thursday at the school’s athletic banquet for her performances throughout the entire season.

Masterson played under head coach Chandler Upton during the softball season where she was a key player on her team.

Not only did Masterson star for the junior high softball team, but she was also a key varsity player on the basketball team where she averaged 7.8 points per game this season along with 4.5 rebounds. She helped the varsity team to a 20-10 record.

Masterson is currently in training for softball as she will be returning to star for the Lady Eagles.
