Grambling State University softball player Cocoa Fultz had a great week of hitting last week as she helped the Tigers defeat the Prairie View A&M in a three game series.

In game one, Fultz went 1 for 3 at the plate with one run score and one RBI in the 6-3 win.

Fultz improved in game two by going 2 for 4 with two RBIs and a run score. The Tigers fought hard but came up short with a close 6-5 loss in that match.

The final game would be Fultz’s best performance of the week by leading her team to a 9-6 victory. She went 3 for 4 at the plate with one RBI and one run score.

Fultz is a 2018 graduate of Warren Central High School where she played under Dana McGivney and she is now continuing to make a great impact on Grambling while playing under Nakeya Hall.
