Jackson State University quarterback Jason Jones has decided to transfer to Mississippi Delta Community College.

Jones started the first five games for the Tigers under head coach Deion Sanders before being benched after back to back losses.

Jones, who originally signed with the University of Florida, will now be playing on the junior college level in hopes of rebooting his football career. He was the first player from JSU to jump into the transfer portal after the season ended last month.

Jones will now join MDCC, who went 0-4 last season, but his talents could bring much success to their organization.
