Nick Anderson wins the Male Wilson Award at Tulane

Vicksburg native Nick Anderson has now won the Male Wilson Award at the University of Tulane.

The Wilson Award is given each year to a student athlete who has a strong impact in leadership when it comes to sports and service.

“This award means the absolute world to me‼️. It’s a blessing to be able to represent the athletic program as this year’s Male Wilson Award Winner🌊🏆. All Glory to GOD 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾,” Anderson wrote in a Facebook post.

Anderson recently finished his junior season at Tulane where he starred at linebacker for the Green Wave. He is now ranked as one of the top linebackers in the country for his upcoming senior year.

Anderson is a 2018 graduate of Vicksburg High School where he was a phenomenal athlete for the Gators.
