Bailey Andrews has been named as Porter’s Chapel Academy Female Athlete of the Year. Andrews was given the award on Saturday at PCA’s athletic banquet.

Andrews, a senior on the Lady Eagles basketball team, was an outstanding all-around athlete this past season and she helped PCA to a 20-10 record and a trip to the second round of the playoffs.

Andrews was coached by Casey Fisher this season and was mostly a threat on the defensive side. She once grabbed nine rebounds in a 67-37 win over Benton Academy.

Besides starring on the basketball team, Andrews was also a part of Key Club and Student Council in her time at PCA. She plans on attending Mississippi State University in the fall.
