Brown-Marshall brings in NJCAA title

Hinds Community College sophomore Breanna Brown-Marshall claimed the women’s high jump at the Track and Field Championship.
During the 2021 NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championship on May 11 – 13, the sophomore, Brown-Marshall, took a win for Hinds CC by claiming first in the women’s high jump by posting 1.78 meters in the finals.
Brown-Marshall, a Birmingham native, stands among the many great male and female athletes which had outstanding performances for the Hinds Eagle Track and Field.
She has been a key athlete in claiming victory, starting strong in the season opener by placing first in the 4×100 meter replay and also taking first in the women’s high jump. More recently, She aided Hinds CC at the Belhaven Invitational meet where she was honored with first-place for her 1.65 meter high jump and her 10.85 meter triple jump.
She’s been a star athlete this season and has earned her status amongst the many assets on Hinds’ list.
