Edwards native Trent Singleton has been dominating on the field for Raymond High School
Last updated:
Raymond High School football player Trent Singleton has turned into a big time recruit since playing for the Rangers over the past few years.
Singleton, native of Edwards, Mississippi, is the starting defensive back and quarterback for RBH and is currently a three-star recruit with multiple division 1 offers.
On the offensive side of the ball, Singleton is a duel threat at quarterback where he can both run the football and throw it down the field with no hesitation. He finished the 2020 season with a combined total of 23 touchdowns, 1,317 passing yards, and 844 rushing yards.
Singleton has big plans for his upcoming senior season including choosing where he will play college football.
“I just want to get better everyday and help my team reach the playoffs next season and one of my top goals is to make sure my whole team gets better,” Singleton said.
Singleton is known for being a shutdown cornerback and currently has 12 scholarship offers including schools such as University of Memphis, Air Force, Tulane, University of Indiana, Arkansas and many more schools who have shown plenty of interest over the years.
Singleton has now started summer training with his team.
Vicksburg Daily News will keep a close eye on him and his team’s upcoming success.
