Vicksburg National Military Park to reopen Visitor Center
The Vicksburg National Military Park announced on social media that the Visitor Center will reopen at a reduced capacity beginning Wednesday, May 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
All park grounds are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily with last vehicle entry at 4:40 p.m. The USS Cairo outdoor exhibit is open however, the USS Cairo Museum remains closed. Public restrooms are open at the Visitor Center and USS Cairo.
Consistent with CDC recommendations, people who are not fully vaccinated (less than 2 weeks past your final dose) must continue to wear masks indoors and in crowded outdoor spaces.
