WC freshman team defeated Ridgeland on Thursday

Warren Central High School freshman boy’s basketball team defeated Ridgeland High School on Thursday in a tough 40-36 win during summer basketball.

Jalen Winters, Chance Ward, and LJ Reynolds led the Vikings in points by finishing with seven a piece on the night.

WC struggled in the first half against the Titans as they trailed by a few points going into halftime.

Coming out of halftime, the Vikings started scoring non-stop by picking up their pace both offensively and defensively.

The game ended ended with a big layup by DeCorey Knight, Jr. who who finished with four points.
