Mississippi Museum of Natural Science (MMNS) is offering new ways to celebrate World Snake Day this year by combining a hybrid virtual and onsite event on Saturday, July 16.

Those that cannot visit the museum on World Snake Day can still see a variety of snakes at exhibitor tables throughout the museum online and learn all about the snakes and their environments.  You can also tune into a lecture from snake expert Terry Vandeventer on the MMNS Facebook page, where you will learn to distinguish local venomous and non-venomous snakes.

Click here for museum admission, hours, and directions.
