VICKSBURG, Miss. (Vicksburg Daily News) – Ole Miss football team adds a huge addition to the program as they land a University of Utah transfer last week.

311 pound offensive lineman Orlando Umana has now transferred to Ole Miss to play for head coach Lane Kiffin and will be automatically eligible to play this season.

Umana is a Pac-12 All-Conference honorable mention in 2019 after starting 12 games at center, and started a total of 26 games with Utah before joining the Rebels. He missed most of the 2020 season due to an injury but has since recovered fully and ready to get back on the field.

Umana has experience at both guard and center which will benefit the Rebels as their season is set to begin on September 6 against Louisville.
