Lady Flashes bring home a road win over Jackson Academy on Thursday

St. Aloysius softball team brought home 6-2 road win over Jackson Academy on Thursday.

Kyleigh Cooper got things started for the Lady Flashes when she tripled in the first inning which eventually brought in a score when Maddy McSherry drew a walk.

Cooper took care of things on the rubber, striking out eight batters in the victory. She also went 1 for 2 at the plate.

Meagan Theriot had a productive night by going 2 for 4 and driving in three RBIs while teammates Lili Perniciaro, Lydia Nettles, Cooper, and Victoria Morehead each had a hit.

Lady Flashes will be back in action on Monday at Copiah Academy.
