Due to the recent success of Jackson State University football team, the Tigers are now ranked No. 20 in the FCS Coaches Poll.

JSU is coming off a 28-7 homecoming win against Alabama State University where they stand at a 5-1 record under head coach Deion Sanders.

The Tigers are currently on a three game winning streak and will face Bethune-Cookman this Saturday.
