Warren Central High School football won their third game in a row on Friday as they crushed Petal 42-13.

TJ Thompson rushed for four touchdowns on the night in an outstanding performance that helped the Vikings bring home the win.

Petal got on the board first with a short run that went for a touchdown.

The Vikings responded with a couple of touchdowns from Thompson and a blocked punt by Jaevion Mims, where Ashton Murphy scooped it up and took it to the end zone for a score.

Coming out of halftime, Thompson grabbed two more touchdowns. Freshman DeCorey Knight, Jr. also got a touchdown late in the fourth to extend the lead.

Brandon Gilliam knocked down all the extra points for WC and got a couple of touchbacks while teammates Danny Guice and Jason Williams both came up with interceptions.

The Vikings will host Meridian on Friday where a win could help them clinch the No. 3 seed in the playoffs.
