VJHS defeated Northwest Rankin 53-36 on Monday

Vicksburg Jr. High School, under head coach Jerdon Hardiman, got a 53-36 win on Monday against Northwest Rankin.

VJHS kept the crowd awake all night by getting off big shots which led them to their second victory in a row.

Mikey Johnson led with 19 points. Jadarius Henderson also had a big night by adding 17.  Marlon Foy ended the night with eight points and JT Gaines put up five in the win.

The Gators will travel to play Clinton on Thursday.
