VHS boy’s basketball team defeated Ridgeland 63-58 on Saturday

Vicksburg High School boy’s basketball team got a victory on the road Saturday against Ridgeland in a 63-58 win.

The Gators came out hard in the first quarter where they took a 19-10 lead.

Davian Williams led VHS with 16 points on the night followed by Kameron Brown and Tyler Carter who each put up 11.

The Gators managed to stay on top in the close match as the boys played well as a team to pull off the win.

Kealon Bass and Tyler Henderson both contributed five points each in the win and Malik Franklin added seven.
