Former Miss Mississippi Kathy Manning Loeb passes away at 59

Kathy Manning Loeb, former 1984 Miss Mississippi, died on Thursday at the age of 59. She is survived by her husband and three children.

Loeb was Miss Mississippi USA 1984, Miss USA semi-finalist, and Miss America second runner up. She was a successful model who worked with several different brands throughout her career and was a life-long supporter of the Miss Mississippi Scholarship Organization.

Loeb was originally from Drew, Mississippi and attended North Sunflower Academy and the University of Mississippi.
