Missy Gators defeat Woodmount 50-43 in the Pensacola Beach Classic

Vicksburg High School girl’s basketball team defeated Woodmount in the Pensacola Beach Classic 50-43 on Monday.

At halftime, the Missy Gators trailed 21-20 after Woodmount shot a half court shot.

VHS eventually took the lead coming out of halftime and never trailed again in the close game.

Janiah Caples led with 21 points and Layla Carter put up 16 in the victory.
