Three Raymond High School football players signed scholarships on Wednesday at a ceremony held for the athletes.

Kendrick Watkins, K’Swaya Moffett and Trent Singleton will all move on to play college football in the fall.

Watkins and Moffett will play at Hinds Community College while Singleton, who signed in December, will head to Mississippi State University.

All three athletes were a big part of the Rangers’ success this season as they made it to the first round of the playoffs under head coach Michael Fields.
