PCA defeated Park Place 7-1 on Monday

Porter’s Chapel Academy baseball team took down Park Place 7-1 on Monday night.

John Wyatt Massey helped the Eagles get on the board when he got out on a sacrifice, but Gage Palmer was able to get the run score.

PCA went up 3-0 by the end of the first inning after Lawson Selby and Thomas Azlin singled on a ground ball that brought in two scores.

Zach Ashley pitched in the victory and only allowed one hit while striking out six batters.

Chase Hearn, Gage Palmer, Ashley, Taylor Labarre, Selby and Massey each got a hit on the night and Hearn finished with two RBIs. Selby and Labarre finished with two run finished with two run scores while Massey and Palmer each got one.

PCA will host Adams County Christian on Tuesday.
