Carter scored 10 in the North/South All Star Game

Vicksburg High School girl’s basketball player Layla Carter played in the Mississippi Association of Coaches North/South All Star on Saturday where she helped the South to a 72-66 win.

Carter scored 10 points, along with three assists and two rebounds.

The 2022 Dandy Dozen Player is highly ranked in the state of Mississippi. She led the Missy Gators to the third round of the playoffs under VHS head coach Troy Stewart.

Carter also plays AAU basketball for the MBA Bobcats.
