WC defeated Riverside and West Lincoln on Saturday

The Warren Central High School softball team grabbed two wins in the Strikeout Cancer Benefit Tournament on Saturday.

Game one:

Madison Pant threw a no-hitter while striking out eight batters to lead the Lady Vikes to a 21-0 win over Riverside.

WC racked up 10 hits as a whole with Adalyn Anderson going 2 for 2 with three RBIs and three run scores. Kennedi McKay and Pant also had two hits on the night.

Zion Harvey contributed with three RBIs while Kamryn Morson, Jenn Smith, Kennedi Williams , and Tyra Bridges each had a hit.

Game two:

After trailing 3-1 in the first inning, WC were able to make comeback and defeat West Lincoln 7-3 on Saturday.

WC got a nine hit performance in the win as Abby Morgan went 3 for 3 along with three RBIs and also getting a big home run in the fourth inning.

Mary Evelyn Hossley, Sarah Cameron Fancher, Jenn Smith, Lola Crozier, Bridges, and Morson each had a hit.

Morgan struck out four batters in the win.
