Lady Vikes shuts out Richland in two innings on Saturday

Warren Central High School softball team walked over Richland in a 16-0, two-inning victory.

Jenn Smith had a double that led to Sarah Cameron Fancher running in to score.

The Lady Vikes picked up 12 scores in the first inning.

In the second inning, Morgan singled on a line drive that brought in two more scores. Zion Harvey and Lola Crozier got the final two RBIs of the night to close out the 16-0 win.

Hossley, Jenn Smith, Morgan, and Morson all went perfect at the plate and finished with two hits each. Jill Smith, Fancher, Kayleigh Karel, Harvey, and Bridges all had one hit as the team finished with 13 hits.

Morgan and Hossley led with three RBIs a piece, while Jenn Smith and Bridges had two. Fancher, Harvey, Karel, Crozier, and Makayla Jackson each got one RBI.

Morgan struck out three batters, and Annalyn Nevels struck out two while neither allowed a hit.
