VWSD cancels school for Wednesday

The Vicksburg-Warren School District has canceled school for Wednesday due to incoming bad weather.

VWSD SCHOOLS/OFFICES CLOSED TOMORROW: After consulting with the National Weather Service, Warren County Emergency Management and others, all VWSD schools and offices will be closed on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.

The National Weather Service has advised that dangerous weather including damaging winds up to 70MPH, possible tornadoes, and heavy rain are expected. Travel conditions may be unsafe and power outages are likely beginning mid-day tomorrow and extending into late evening. Therefore, schools and offices will be closed tomorrow.

There will be no after school activities tomorrow, including tutoring services.
