Celebrating Dahlia

Friends and family will gather today to celebrate little Dahlia Grissom with a prom-themed birthday party.

Dahlia was diagnosed in 2020 with DIPG, or diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma. DIPG is an aggressive and difficult to treat type of brain tumor found in the brainstem that primarily affects children.

“If you are in the area, come join us for the crowning of prom queen Princess Dahlia,” said her mother, Tina Grissom.

The party will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Every Occasion Venue located at 1201 Walnut Street in Vicksburg.
