Vicksburg High School girl’s basketball team ended their summer basketball season as the runner ups in the Pre National Tune Up Tournament in Murphy, Texas.

The Missy Gators took a 55-51 loss to the Lady Ballers with Layla Carter leading VHS with 19 points. Ja’Na Colenburg put up 12 points and Janiah Caples added 10 followed by Jelisa Tyler who contributed six.

VHS is led by Head Coach Troy Stewart who is preparing the team for the 2023 season.
