Murder-suicide suspected after two men found dead in D’Iberville

D’Iberville police are investigating what is being considered a murder-suicide after two men were found dead at a bar early Saturday morning, WLOX reports.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired at Reno’s Sports Pub on Rodriguez Street in D’Iberville at around 2:30 a.m., where they found the bodies of two men – each with a single gunshot wound to the head.

Following their initial investigation, including recovering surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses, authorities determined that one of the men was a victim of homicide.  The suspect then turned the gun onto himself.
