Vicksburg High School football player Ja’Darrion Kelly has now verbally committed to playing for Alcorn State University next season.

Kelly made the announcement on Sunday over social media where he informed everyone of his decision.

Kelly was a huge part of the Gator defense last season that shutout multiple opponents. He finished the year with 24 tackles, three pass deflections, and one interception as he was selected as a VDN All-County football player.

Kelly still has his upcoming senior season to shine for VHS under Head Coach Todd McDaniel.
