St. Aloysius took a 50-20 loss on Friday to Cathedral.

The Green Waves didn’t hesitate to go to their passing game at the start of the match and quickly went up 28-7 in the first quarter. The Flashes scored twice by halftime from a 55-yard pass from John David Liggett to Ahmad Stewart and a 50-yard catch by Padre Gray Jr as the score remained 28-14.

Gray scored a 52-yard touchdown run on the final play of the game but Cathedral would manage to get into the end zone a few times before that and took the 50-20 win.

The Flashes will travel to Clinton Christian on Friday.
