The 2014 River Belles competed in the BUSA Birmingham Bash over the weekend and came out with three wins.

“I’m extremely proud of the way this team competed against competition from areas outside of where we typically play, and these are clubs that have much larger player pools than Vicksburg,” Coach Daniel Sumerall said. “Our girls showed up ready to play and kept the pressure and intensity at a high level all weekend.”

In the three wins, the 2014 River Belles had scores of 4-1 against Signal Mountain TN Storm, 2-1 against Alabama Futbol Club from Birmingham, and 8-0 against Madison Alabama Blaze Inferno 8-0 to win the Girls Gold Bracket.

The 2014 River Belles are coached by Daniel Sumerall, Katie Feibelman, and Tony Davidson.
