Port Gibson crushed Wilkinson County 39-6 on Friday

Port Gibson High School football team got a 39-6 homecoming win over Wilkinson County on Friday.

Jeremiah Christian led the Blue Waves in the running game with 105 yards off 12 carries and two touchdowns. Jeremy Brandon, Jukwon Frye and Rakeem Davis also had touchdowns.

Defensively, Quavian Barnes caught two interceptions and had a receiving touchdown thrown by Cameron Gibson. Damion Miller, Lewis Coleman and Eddie Liggins all grabbed multiple tackles in the win.

PG will travel to face Franklin County on Friday.
