Vicksburg native Christopher Lacey has been selected to be the defensive coordinator in the Magnolia Sports Association Senior Bowl.

Lacey, who is the defensive coordinator at Vicksburg High School, will coach the platinum squad in the big game.

Lacey is currently leading the Gators’ top notch defense as they sit with a current 6-2 record and allowing less than 10 points per game. He is in his third season as defensive coordinator at VHS after helping Vicksburg Junior High to a Little Six Championship in 2019.

Lacey is a graduate of Warren Central High School and Mississippi College.

The MSA Senior Bowl will be held on January 15 at East Central Community College.
